| Description: | EvalFest is the biennial flagship convening of the Evaluation Community of India (ECOI), designed to strengthen evaluation culture, capacity, and practice in India. It brings together evaluators, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, academics, civil society organisations, funders, and young and emerging evaluators, youth to reflect on how evidence can better inform policies, programmes, and social change. Over successive editions, EvalFest has evolved alongside the development ecosystem, responding to emerging challenges and shifts in evaluation practice. Past themes — Visibility, Voice, and Value (2018), Digital Development and Inclusion (2020), Creativity, Collaboration, and Convergence (2022), and Responsive, Adaptive, and Future-proof Approaches (2024) — have expanded conversations on inclusion, ethics, innovation, and learning. Through interdisciplinary dialogue and knowledge-sharing, EvalFest has become a key platform for advancing evaluation thinking and practice in India. |
